The BACKROOM is a single room, multi-purpose space that has re-imagined Coffs Harbour entertainment. As you pass The Coffs Hotel’s Beer Garden, situated at the back of the venue you’ll find Coffs Harbour’s brand-new home of entertainment.
The BACKROOM was designed out of identifying the need for a community space that could service multiple forms of local and touring entertainment. From comedy shows to live bands, this venue space aims to connect locals and visitors alike to the unique creative culture of the Coffs Harbour region.

Galitch
Galitch crashes through the boundaries of genre, fusing the unfiltered energy of punk, the grit of rock, and the hypnotic swirl of psychedelic soundscapes. Layered between the fuzzed-out guitars and thunderous rhythms is an unexpected voice — the warm, smoky tone of a saxophone, weaving its way through each track like a dream you can’t quite shake.

Coffs harbour-based band Harbour Drive features Richard Jenkins ( the One Armed guitarist/vocalist ) ( Tom on guitar and keys ) (will on bass guitar )(and Jesse on drums) their sound blends alternative with atmospheric heaviness and alternative energy , winners of the Woopi brewery Battle of the Bands and currently recording that debut album
Blown Fuse
Blown Fuse is an underground band that’s riding the 60s rock wave above the surface who have a spray of grit and Fuzz. let them fill your soul with sounds of fun and Summer Love. formed in ’23 and you’ll find them preforming for the locals in their home town of coffs harbour.

Over the last few years, Gold Coast’s HAMMERS have fast become one of Australia’s most tirelessly active and difficult to categorise purveyors of the heavies in the country.
Anthemic, riff driven post-hardcore, alternative hooks by the fistful and pit-dwelling beatdowns… all dancing on the edge of where rock’n’roll falls hard for metal. Apparently delivering everything you want in a song might actually be achievable?!
This Spring, armed with new material and a fire in the belly like never before, the lads hit the road on their ‘The Moment of Struth Tour’. They’ll bash out not just the three singles, but additionally showcase a handful of unheard material across venues up and down the East Coast of Oz, following recent tours of New Zealand and Japan.
